Glitch
One of my favorite parts of this image is how moody it is. In order to enhance the spooky feeling, I staggered images of the boardwalk so that it looked like it was glitching. I also wanted to juxtapose the bright sky with the dark wood, so I changed the placement of the images so that pieces of sky contrast with the darkest corner of the image. This creates more visual balance and guides the eye more smoothly.
Mansion on a Hill
To make the building the focal point of this image, I duplicated segments of it multiple times, overlapping them to create a larger looking building. In this image, I used thinner and longer horizontal and vertical images in order to create an illusion of movement. I added contrast in a similar manner to the last edit, by placing segments of sky into darker portions of the picture to create balance.
Clones
I took this picture because the sun made a cool reflection on the ground, something I attempted to highlight while editing. In this edit I wanted to create a duplicating effect for my dog, which adds a nice sense of rhythm to the picture. While rearranging sections of image, I used multiple similarly shaped pieces and swapped their places which adds a feeling of consistency to the chaos.

ArrowThis photograph is the first one I took for this project. While editing, I tried to emphasize the colors, contrasting the bright green moss with the brown wood. In order to create clean lines, I had to be very careful about the angle from which I took the image. This creates a cool effect, making the image look two dimensional instead of three dimensional. Lastly, the symmetry and balance in this picture creates a harmonious feeling.
